The sub 1000 F subwoofer is designed for Home cinema use, with the purest Focal tradition.

A technological masterpiece, with Flax bass cone with a diameter of 30 cm. Rigid, light and environmentally friendly, it reproduces excellent sound interpretation, without any distortions. The "Dual Magnet" dual driver, provides apparent power as it ensures excellent linearity. The Sub 1000 F has an incredibly powerful 1000 watt BASH amplifier built in to allow the 30cm woofer to operate at full capacity. Finally, its construction provides extensive bass response, compact size and zero interference, and thus, offers pure, harmonious sound.

Subwoofer, in general, is crucial in Home Cinema systems to achieve truly realistic multichannel playback. The sound effects in the soundtrack can not only play from the center and surround speakers. The bass is a separate, standalone channel, not something extra in the system.

Includes its own data of sound effects, based on energy and dynamics. This data can not be reproduced faithfully from simple, conventional speakers, regardless of their size and ability to play bass. The sub 1000 F subwoofer is the ideal unit for playing these sounds, thanks to the highly specialized 1000 watt audio amplification .

In addition, the soundtracks of the latest blockbusters are increasingly rich in very low frequencies, reaching even lower than the lower end of the spectrum. For this reason, the perfect reproduction of this area by a bass reflex subwoofer is a big challenge.

The powerful 1000 watt BASH amplifier ensures that the Sub 1000 F can fully express all  its capabilities.

In addition to its power, the amplifier has a number of functions and settings to help you adjust the bass to the needs of your room or Home Cinema space: Adjust volume, active variable Low-Pass filter for high cut- adjustment frequency from 40 to 160 Hz, Phase inverter for phase adjustment, and automatic stand-by operation.

For connectivity, the Sub 1000 F has an LFE input for Multi-chanel audio / video amplifiers and a "Low Level" Stereo RCA input for 2 channel amplifiers.

The loudspeaker cone in this subwoofer uses FLAX technology. Flax is a fabric, environmentally friendly, with amazing structural properties, which make it particularly suitable for sound reproduction: it is light and rigid. In general, flax membranes provide greater neutrality in tone quality and much better sound quality.

Developed from the Flax cones used by the Aria 900 series, the membrane in the Sub 1000 F has a new and much more rigid surface. Two layers of 150g / m2 fiber glass and 250 g / m2 flax core. It is able to withstand the high demands of subwoofers.

The sub 1000 f also offers an advanced driver, which is set to keep the coil temperature very low. This means that the speaker gives a very well defined bass, much better dynamics and even greater SPL power (103.5 db / 1m @ 40Hz)

Focal's Research & Development team has developed a custom spider / suspension for it is also controllable, even at very long distances (Up to 43mm)
