The QSC K8.2 loudspeaker is a full-range 2-way active loudspeaker from QSC with a 2,000 Watt Class-D amplifier module and DSP (Digital Signal Processor). The speaker is equipped with an 8" woofer and a 1.4" titanium compression driver.
The built-in DSP allows you to perfectly match the speaker to your location and save the scene. The QSC K8.2 loudspeaker operates in a frequency range of 55 Hz to 20 kHz and has a maximum sound pressure level of 128 dB.
Thanks to the many connection options, the loudspeaker is equipped for all eventualities. The housing of the QSC K8.2 is made of durable and robust plastic and is therefore very light. Ergonomic handles have been integrated for secure wearing comfort.
The speaker can also be used as a monitor speaker and has a return slope of 55°.
The entrees
It includes a pair of balanced Combo XLR/6.3mm jack connectors and a 3.5mm mini jack connector with independent gain control. The first is equipped with a selectable MIC / LINE (Microphone or Line) level input, while the second is a selectable HI-Z / LINE (High Impedance or Line) level input, specially designed for musical instruments. This also means that you don't need a Di Box when connecting a guitar, for example. Both inputs are connected directly to a pair of male XLR connectors so that signals can be transmitted. A 3.5mm mini jack input socket with independent gain control is suitable for connecting sources such as smartphones, computers and MP3 players. Since each channel has an independent gain control, you no longer need a mixer for small gigs.
The multifunctional digital screen
The multi-function digital display offers control and selection of loudspeaker functions such as CROSS-OVER, EQ, DELAY as well as various presets (stage monitor, party, live and speaker) pre-made by QSC. These functions, which are controlled by the screen, make it possible to adapt the sound of the loudspeaker perfectly to any room without having to carry an additional DSP. This saves space during transport and time during assembly.
Positioning
With the QSC K.2 series, great attention has been paid to the flexibility of the positioning of the box. The loudspeaker can be used as a stage monitor with an inclination of 55° or placed as usual on a speaker stand. As the loudspeaker is equipped with 25 mm foot sockets, it can be tilted by 0° or -7.5°. Thanks to this angle of inclination, the box can be used very flexibly for different room sizes.
